Answer the phone. While they may not have the greatest success rate in the world, the goal for all NXT talents is to make it up to the main roster. NXT is the official developmental program for WWE so it makes sense that the goal is to develop enough to make it to the big stage. While it might not be clear what is going on, two names seem to have made that jump this week.

During this week’s Monday Night Raw, NXT Tag Team Champions the Street Profits (Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins) made their main roster debut. The two appeared in a pair of backstage segments during the night but did not have a match. The first appearance was an interview with Charly Caruso while the second involved Paul Heyman, who seems confused by the team. There is no word on if this is a permanent promotion or not.

These guys can go. Check out their great match against the Viking Raiders from a few weeks back:

Opinion: This is one of the most surprising callups (assuming it is one) that I can remember. The Street Profits have only been champions for a few weeks now and seem to be somewhat unlikely champions in the first place. They certainly have the charisma to be on the main roster though and that is likely why they were brought up in the first place. I’m not sure if this is going to last, but for one night, it was a nice surprise.
