VICKIE GUERRERO Performance Review: MARKED OUT!
Really entertaining stuff, albeit a little cheesy. It was still enjoyable though. Vickie got great heat, and overall it was pretty humorous. Now Brad Maddox is our new GM of RAW. Let’s see what the Braditude Era brings us.
KANE def. CHRISTIAN: MARKED OUT!
I thought this was a very good bout. Kane and Christian both looked great in the ring, pulling off really good timing for the both of them. Of course, it would be what happened after the match that would go down as the “MARK OUT” moment of the night.
THE WYATT FAMILY debuts: MARKED THE F*** OUT!
I totally marked out during this segment. The vignettes leading up to their arrival were spectacular in my opinion. Then we get them coming out to the ring with an AWESOME entrance and I felt like I was a 10 year old kid watching wrestling again.
I loved the debut, the attack on Kane, and the whole old school feel of the Wyatts and their video packages. It’s fresh. It’s new, and if it had not been for the IDIOT “Smarks” in Baltimore, that moment where Wyatt bowed over Kane would have been a landmark moment for him.
To ruin that moment with shouts of “HUSKY HARRIS,” just because you’re a “smart fan” and you know who he was before this gimmick, is unacceptable. Don’t complain about the product anymore if you chanted that or thought it was cool, because you’re half (if not more than half) of the problem with the business today. Shut up and enjoy the effin’ show!

KAITLYN / LAYLA vs. *Divas Champion* AJ LEE / ALICIA FOX: …checked out…
…I have no idea what happened in this match…I left the room. Who won? No one? Oh ok. NEXT!
CM PUNK def. RANDY ORTON: MARKED OUT!
What a way to end a show right? Two faces going at it, the crowd divided among them? Baller match. It made both of these guys look great, and it makes the Money in the Bank feel that much bigger. Bryan’s run in after the match was over was awesome, although heelish. Hint at a turn here? We’ll have to watch and find out.
RAW 07/08/13 OVERALL: MARKED OUT!
What a RAW, eh? Ten times better than the show produced the week before right? A very good go-home show for Money In The Bank. The upcoming PPV seems “BIG,” possibly bigger than SummerSlam will feel. There is an aura of excitement here with the return of RVD, the outcome of the ladder matches, Henry possibly taking the title from Cena, all of it just seems huge.
Here’s to Sunday night! Let’s all enjoy what should be a fantastic PPV.
