It looks like WWE still hasn’t signed Shelton Benjamin, despite the fact that there are reports out there which suggest that they have.

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE and Benjamin still haven’t agreed on a deal. So, it doesn’t look like the ex-United States Champion will be returning to the company anytime soon.

“Even though it has been reported differently and even reported with me as the source, those in WWE say that Shelton Benjamin has not signed a deal with the company as of earlier in the week.”

Benjamin, who just turned 42, was originally supposed to return to WWE last year, but an injury was discovered during his medicals, which forced his return to be held off.
