WRESTLING RUMORS: WWE May Be Teasing An On-Screen Split

Domestic issues. There are certain wrestlers who are regularly paired together on television, often to quite the success. You will see them working together in one fashion or the other, occasionally in romantic relationships. That can make for a variety of storylines, including when the people have problems. We might be seeing that take place again with quite the high profile couple.

Last week on SmackDown, Dominik Mysterio made a surprise appearance and got into a brawl with the LWO, including his father Rey Mysterio. Later in the night, Dominik met up with the rest of Judgment Day, who he did not inform of his plans to go to the ring. This included his on-screen girlfriend Rhea Ripley, who did not seem happy that she was not told in advance. According to Wrestlingnews.co, this could be setting up a split between the two, though such a thing has been teased before and nothing came of it.

Opinion: I’m not sure I can imagine the two of them splitting, but Ripley is rapidly becoming one of the most popular stars in all of WWE. Dominik on the other hand is almost universally loathed and at some point the split is going to have to take place. Maybe that is where this is heading, but it would almost be hard to fathom that actually happening after how good they have been together.
