Whoa whoa whoa in rhythmic timing. With less than two weeks to go until “Battleground 2017”, it’s time to start adding matches to the card. Several of them were added on this week’s “Smackdown Live”, including a grudge match based on an incident at last month’s “Money in the Bank 2017”.

Shinsuke Nakamura ignites a pre-match brawl with Baron Corbin: SmackDown LIVE, July 11, 2017

As announced this week on “Smackdown Live”, Baron Corbin will face Shinsuke Nakamura in a singles match at “Battleground 2017”. The feud started last month at “Money in the Bank 2017” when Corbin attacked Nakamura before the show’s namesake match. Since then, Corbin has attacked Nakamura again, only to have Nakamura do the same before their scheduled match tonight, setting up the pay per view match instead.

Opinion: This isn’t the biggest surprise in the world and there’s nothing wrong with that. Nakamura vs. Corbin could go either way with Nakamura seemingly being the favorite but I’m not sure WWE would want its Money in the Bank briefcase holder to lose his first major singles match since winning the ladder match. The match should be good for a hard hitting brawl though and that’s the best result.

Who do you think wins the match? When do you think Corbin cashes in his briefcase? Let us know in the comments below.
