Booker T Interested in Wrestling More Matches For WWE

Booker T has been hanging around WWE for years now. He has done some commentary and continues to do a great job running his own wrestling promotion. The WWE Hall of Famer has proven himself to be a valuable asset to the company outside of the ring. The WWE Universe continues to speculate if Booker T still has something left in the tank.

In the past, the five-time WCW World Heavyweight Champion hasn’t ruled out the idea of wrestling again. There are always opportunities for a performer of his caliber to get back into the ring. However, Booker T admitted during a recent interview with Sports Illustrated that he would do another match for WWE in a heartbeat if WWE asked him.

There’s a difference between a fun appearance during the Royal Rumble Match and a full feud against an up and coming talent. WWE officials haven’t asked him yet, but it’s plausible they could in the future. There are several potential rivalries for Booker T to have on Raw or SmackDown Live. It would come down to who he wants to work with.

He’s always shown an interest in The New Day and a feud with Big E could do wonders for him to reach the next level. It could be difficult for Booker T to play the heel since a lot of people would cheer him because he’s a WWE Hall of Famer. It would probably be easier for him to work with a heel like Bobby Lashley to establish him as a better heel.

A run with someone like Apollo Crews or Elias to give them the rub. There are always a number of possibilities for a WWE legend like Booker T. Until WWE officials pick up the phone and call him for a match, the only thing to do is speculate. However, the Hall of Famer has made it very clear that he’s ready to go and the ball is in WWE’s court.
