At WWE Evolution, Becky Lynch will defend the SmackDown Women’s Championship against Charlotte Flair once again in a Last Woman Standing Match. It’ll be the second in WWE history and the first on the main roster. The two women have a blank canvas to work with and the match could steal the show at the first-ever women’s PPV event.

There has been some speculation about WWE officials booking a title change because Becky Lynch is believed to be working with a cracked jaw. It’s plausible for her to lose the championship and be given time off. We don’t know what’s coming, but it seems the powers that be have something in mind for Becky Lynch at WrestleMania 35 already.

According to a report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE officials wanted to book Ronda Rousey vs. Charlotte Flair for the grandest stage of them all. However, their plans might be changing and Becky Lynch vs. Ronda Rousey could be the plan. A lot of people are more interested in that idea than having Charlotte vs. Ronda in New York.

On paper, any matchup can be proposed for the grandest stage of them all. There would have to be some major changes made to the roster for Lynch vs. Rousey to happen. One of the two women would have to change brands. If Charlotte vs. Ronda was WWE’s plan of action, some roster moves would need to happen anyway. On the other hand, Asuka challenged Charlotte in New Orleans. Becky would just have to win the Royal Rumble.

With The Lass Kicker’s momentum hitting on all cylinders right now, huge plans for her to win the Royal Rumble and face Ronda Rousey at WrestleMania 35 seem great. We are still months away from the big show so a lot can happen between now and next April.
