The night before “No Mercy” last month, Becky Lynch went down with an undisclosed injury that forced her to go on the shelf for a few weeks and postponed her title defense against Alexa Bliss until next week. She only just returned to SmackDown last week.

Becky Lynch has been in the ring since, so she’s back. However, her mysterious injury wasn’t revealed until quite recently. Unfortunately for the WWE Universe, there is only so much information that we’re going to be privy to about it.

According to a recent report from RingSideNews.com, Becky was asked about her injury by a fan at the Wizard World Comic Con convention in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The most that Lynch had to say for specifics was that she had “something removed.”

Although WWE gave her weeks as a precaution, she claimed that she could have made her return to the ring within a few days. After making her the SmackDown Women’s Champion, WWE obviously wanted to ensure that she would be one hundred percent.

The feud with Alexa Bliss has continued on SmackDown, but the question is if WWE officials have faith in Lynch to carry the Women’s title on SmackDown going forward.
