This is probably the best for them. WWE has announced that Sunday’s kickoff match will be a six man tag between Ariya Daivari/Tony Nese/Drew Gulak vs. Cedric Alexander/Sin Cara/Lince Dorado. This is the second cruiserweight match on Sunday’s card along with TJ Perkins defending the Cruiserweight Title against Brian Kendrick.

The cruiserweights have been mixed and matched over recent weeks without much of a story between most of them. In a way this is a rematch from a few weeks back on “Monday Night Raw” when Dorado and Sin Cara defeated Nese and Gulak. Sin Cara is the first person already in WWE to join the newly formed cruiserweight division.

Well what else are you going to do with these guys? The cruiserweights haven’t exactly lit the world on fire since their introductions to the main roster (though the matches have been fine). There’s no real story for any of them so these are just matches for the sake of having matches. Then again, that’s the perfect choice for a kickoff show as they can fly around the ring for eight to ten minutes and pop the crowd.

What do you think of the cruiserweights? How would you improve the division going forward? Let us know in the comments below.
