Ever since becoming the WWE World Champion at “Backlash” a few months ago, AJ Styles may sell himself as “The Champ That Runs The Camp,” but he’s simply the best wrestler in WWE right now, which is why he’s the WWE Champion.

That shouldn’t come as a surprise, but it’s still surreal to see him with the WWE title. It is what he deserves, so there are some high expectations for his title run. Seriously, who else could lose to James Ellsworth two weeks in a row and look good?

All the stuff with Ellsworth is just a game between Dean Ambrose and Styles heading into the next title defense. We’ll get that feud, but the expectation is AJ will retain and move onto John Cena when he returns. However, WWE may have other plans.

According to a report from Four3Four.com, AJ Styles is expected to feud with Randy Orton after the feud with Ambrose concludes. Orton vs. Styles seems to be a matchup made in heaven. It looks like WWE will be booking them for the “Royal Rumble.”

WWE making next year’s “Royal Rumble” the greatest in WWE history is going to make the card one of the deepest in history. Giving the WWE Universe such a great match on paper is going to benefit both men and provide a great match for the history books.
