Last night, WWE held the go-home edition of Monday Night Raw in Minneapolis to some mediocre results. It was meant to be the homecoming for Brock Lesnar and the final hyping for the “Hell in a Cell” PPV this Sunday in Boston.

However, the show didn’t develop anything more heading into Sunday. Instead, Raw just put more emphasis on what was already there heading into what should be one of the most brutal nights of the year for WWE.

The main event saw Seth Rollins in a triple threat match against both Kevin Owens and Chris Jericho, which was realistically more like a handicap match. Somehow, Rollins got the win on a double rollup, but Owens left him laying to end Raw heading into Sunday.

According to a report from Sportskeeda.com, WWE had something else planned once Raw went off the air last night. Neither Roman Reigns or Rusev appeared on Raw last night, but they had a dark match after Raw went off TV to an almost empty arena.

Only six days before the two men face off at “Hell in a Cell,” they fought to send the rest of the crowd home happy. Reigns got the win off the Spear and now the WWE Universe just needs to wait until Sunday to see them fight in WWE’s version of hell.
