Tonight on Raw: Lesnar Fires Back at Goldberg

Last week, Goldberg made his triumphant return to WWE, offering up a challenge to Brock Lesnar that was so impassioned that it won the hearts and minds of even the most skeptical of wrestling fans. Tonight, Lesnar returns to respond to that challenge in front of his hometown crowd in Minneapolis, and you can expect the Beast to have some unkind words for the WCW superstar.

That match won’t happen at least until Survivor Series, but we’re only a week away from Hell in a Cell, and Raw’s full-time roster will look to prove themselves ahead of Sunday’s pay-per-view. Tonight’s main event will feature a triple threat between Universal Champion Kevin Owens, his challenger this Sunday, Seth Rollins, and his “best friend,” Chris Jericho. Speculation has been running rampant that Jericho will somehow be involved in Hell in a Cell’s title match, so look for something big to happen in tonight’s match.

Charlotte and Sasha Banks will also look to make a statement, as we continue to wonder who will actually be the main event on Sunday. Meanwhile, we’ll get a preview of Sunday’s Tag Team Championship match when Cesaro and Sheamus take on the New Day ahead of Sunday’s title bout, as the two former rivals attempt to finally work together to bring down the champs.
