We all knew the hiatus that John Cena would be taking. There are two different ways of looking at his absence. For one, he was on a great run of matches with AJ Styles, and it is a shame to see him leave. However, it’s also a chance for everyone else on SmackDown.

Cena claims that everything else is he does provides extra promotion and exposure for WWE, which is technically true. Not only that, but it makes his matches special because we don’t get to see him as often. But, he does benefit greatly from his time out of WWE.

Either way, John Cena is still the massive commodity to WWE that he always has been, so the WWE Universe is left wondering when he will return to the ring. Although he will not return to the ring “full-time” until December, he’ll be seen very soon on PPV.

According to a report from CageSideSeats.com, John Cena will be making an in-ring appearance during the “Survivor Series.” The expectation is he’ll be a part of the five on five “Survivor Series” traditional elimination match between Raw and SmackDown.
