It was rumored that Chris Jericho’s run with WWE is coming to an end. The assumption was that he’d be done after “Hell in a Cell.” Although it doesn’t seem that way right now, it’s time to start watching the clock to see if Y2J will be leaving for Fozzy again soon.

However, the way that WWE has been booking the dynamic between Jericho and the WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens implies something bigger is coming for them, which is why the former will be added to the “Hell in a Cell” title match in some way.

According to a report from CageSideSeats, WWE will be revealing their plans for Jericho this Sunday at “Hell in a Cell.” Obviously, he’ll be added to the Universal title match between Owens and Seth Rollins in some way, but the extent of his role is up in the air.

WWE could make the match a triple threat, which would likely lead to Owens vs. Y2J after Sunday, but Jericho could also be added to the match as a special guest referee.

It would be an interesting dynamic with everything going on, but we’ll see what WWE has planned tonight on Raw.
