New Favorites Emerging in Royal Rumble Odds

This year’s Royal Rumble is starting to really shape up as a huge event, and the odds are also starting to shape up as well. While at the onset, Undertaker was considered to be the favorite, the odds are starting to stack in other ways this year.

Here are the current odds on the Rumble, courtesy of SkyBets, starting with the current favorite:

Most notable is Samoa Joe, who has risen as high as #5 in the odds from out of obscurity early on. However, the current favorite is Braun Strowman, who sits at 2.5 to 1 odds to win.

While Undertaker could have been the favorite early on, the fact that he is already confirmed to be doing something at Wrestlemania could have odds makers thinking that the legend will likely be used in another capacity at their premier event than just being a #1 Contender. It’s likely that Taker will be seen settling old grudges, or at the very least, fulfilling dream matches as his career is starting to come to a close.
