That’s viper venom. Yesterday a story broke of Randy Orton allegedly getting in an altercation with a fan at a gym in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Orton was accused of being very rude to the fan when he was asked about taking a picture. While the situation is nothing but one group of people’s words against another at this point, Orton doesn’t exactly come off as a nice guy in this case. Now he’s officially responded on Twitter.

Orton’s statement:

“Apparently I hurt a fans feelings when I told him to F off at the gym yesterday. That’s news? Been happening for 15 years. #getalife”

This is the first acknowledgement of the incident from Orton’s side and he certainly doesn’t back away from the accusations. It should be noted that there was no violence and Orton isn’t accused of putting his hands on anyone or anyone else’s property. The only thing mentioned was an exchange of unpleasant words.

If this is what happened, I really don’t see it as such a big deal. Orton might have come off as rude but it’s hardly something worth getting up in arms about. He’s a heel on TV and therefore doesn’t need to be a nice guy in person. We’ve also only heard the fan’s side of the story so maybe he was pestering Orton a lot more than he’s letting on. Either way, it really doesn’t seem like a big deal.
