There is something so cool about Randy Orton being in The Wyatt Family. Many people are expecting him to turn on them eventually because he’d be playing the same trick that Daniel Bryan did back in early 2014. That’s possible, but let’s just say he doesn’t.

What is going to come out of Orton embracing his new role as a member of The Wyatt Family? Of course, he’s not going to have crazy hair or a long beard, but his character has always lived on the edge of “the darkness,” so seeing him step over is very cool.

What’s great is Orton being under the influence of Bray Wyatt potentially makes him more dangerous than he has ever been in his career. He’s starting out slow, but it will be cool over time to see how he embraces the character changes.

One week, his gear is different. Suddenly, he’s talking differently and becoming more vicious in the ring. It makes Wyatt look a ton more controlling and dominant as a heel, which is what he’s been missing since he lost some of his momentum last year.

It’s not just a great opportunity for Wyatt to get heat and eventually feud with Orton, but it gives Randy something to explore. If WWE lets him stay with it for a good stretch of time, we could be seeing something exciting develop over the next several weeks.
