The build to “Survivor Series” has begun to pick up steam after this week’s editions of both Raw and SmackDown. The latter has been the aggressor in the civil war between the two brand, which is understandable after the way Lesnar vs. Orton turned out.

Last night on SmackDown, Daniel Bryan announced the five men that will be a part of the traditional five on five match at “Survivor Series” between the five best that each brand has to offer. The other two matches for the event have also revealed members.

Not only that, but Dolph Ziggler sent out an open challenge to anyone from Raw to take a shot at his Intercontinental title. However, that wasn’t enough for him last night on SmackDown, he had more to do after the cameras went off and the show ended.

According to a report from Sportskeeda, Ziggler also defended the IC Championship against The Miz during the dark match after SmackDown went off the air. He retained the title, but he didn’t do it alone.

Maryse was banned from ringside, but The Spirit Squad attempted to interfere and cost Dolph the title, but The Hype Bros made the save for The Show Off. The three faces sent the crowd home happy after the match concluded and Ziggler retained the title.
