Rumored Matches For “Battleground” Revealed

The WWE Draft and brand extension has so much of the focus in WWE right now that some people are forgetting how great the card is looking to be at “Battleground.”

Of course, we have the triple threat match for the WWE Championship between Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, and Roman Reigns. The final match of Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn’s rivalry has also been announced, but there are many more rumored matches that are bound to be very interesting.

According to a report from RingSideNews.com, there are at least five rumored matches to be taking place. For example, it’s fairly obvious that The Wyatt Family will challenge The New Day for the WWE Tag Team titles, but it just hasn’t been announced yet.

The rematch between AJ Styles and John Cena is again obvious, but there is a stipulation of some kind that will be added to the match. Also, Rusev is clearly going to be defending the US title against Titus O’Neil as well.

In the Women’s division, it’s unclear if WWE is going to go ahead with Sasha Banks vs. Charlotte for the WWE Women’s Championship at “Battleground” or “Summerslam,” but The Boss will most likely be wrestling.

Elsewhere, Becky Lynch will finally get in the ring with Natalya, which could end up being a surprising match that could get a lot of people’s attention heading into the brand split.
