That’s the plan? Survivor Series has come and gone and that means it is time to start looking towards the final event of the year. As a result, that means we have to start getting ready for the Road To WrestleMania. That means we have some important things coming up, and one of the biggest is the Royal Rumble. As a result, WWE has started thinking about the idea, and now they might have a plan for a unique finish.

This year’s women’s Survivor Series match ended in a unique way as Lana was ordered to stand on the steps for the majority of the match. Nia Jax would not let her get involved in the match, but then Jax and Bianca Belair were counted out, leaving Lana as the sole survivor. It was certainly a different way to go, but now we might be getting something fresh for the Royal Rumble.

According to Wrestling Observer Live, WWE has been discussing the idea of having the previous twenty nine entrants eliminated from the Royal Rumble and then having the #30 entrant win the match without having to eliminate anyone. This is not currently being planned for either of the 2021 Royal Rumbles but it is something being discussed as a possible option.

This is a different way to go. Check out how Survivor Series went and how the Royal Rumble can end:

Opinion: I’m not sure what to think about this but it could certainly be interesting. That being said, it also feels a bit like a joke ending and that might not be the way that you want to go with one of the biggest matches of the year. There are some people who could make it work, but the Royal Rumble winner is one of the most important spots you can have. Is that something you want to mess with like this?
