Triple Threat Match, Hell in a Cell Preview Announced for Next Week

Who says you need a big cage?

On this week’s “Monday Night Raw”, General Manager Mick Foley announced a triple threat match pitting Kevin Owens vs. Chris Jericho vs. Seth Rollins and the New Day vs. Sheamus/Cesaro in a non-title match for next week’s show. Rollins vs. Jericho vs. Owens had been teased as a main event as recently as the October 10, 2016 episode of “Monday Night Raw”.

This opens a lot of doors of possibilities for next week, including the idea of Jericho still being added to the pay per view title match. As for the other match, there’s a very good chance that the two members of New Day who face Cesaro and Sheamus next week won’t be the same pair that defends the titles at the pay per view.

Now this is more like it. Not the wrestling that is but actually announcing something in advance for a change. It gets very tiresome having everything announced during the show or just a few hours before the show goes on the air. The triple threat is probably to change something for a lackluster title match and the tag match is likely designed to give Cesaro and Sheamus momentum going into the pay per view.
