It really might be over WWE? When wrestling fans get annoyed at something, they can get really annoyed at it in a hurry. The problem comes from the fact that wrestling companies can be stubborn with what they are presenting and sometimes do not know when to wrap something up. If they get caught in that kind of a trap, it can get very annoying in a hurry. One such problem might be over though.

There have been very few storylines in recent memory which have been as unpopular as the Bobby Lashley/Lana/Rusev love triangle. The story started at the end of September and went on for months, making it all the way to January (or February if you consider Lana vs. Liv Morgan as part of the same story). Fans were not exactly thrilled with it but we might be getting a reprieve.

According to Wrestling Observer Radio, Rusev was not at this week’s Monday Night Raw because creative had nothing for him. At the same time, Lashley wrestled in a triple threat match to determine a new #1 contender for the WWE Championship. While not confirmed, this may suggest that their story is over. If this is the case, their last match came on the January 20 episode of Monday Night Raw when Lashley and Lana defeated Morgan and Rusev in a mixed tag.

There was a history here. Check out some moments from the feud:

Opinion: I’m not entirely convinced that the story is over but I wouldn’t be complaining if it was. There are only so many things that you can do in a feud like this and WWE ran out of ideas a long time ago. The feud has not been well received and it would probably be better for everyone involved to just end things already and move on. That would certainly be the case for a lot of the fans if nothing else.

Do you think the feud is over? What is next for everyone involved? Let us know in the comments below.
