WRESTLING RUMORS: Speculation Over 42 Year Old Former WWE Superstar Returning To The Company

Remember him? There have been so many wrestlers in WWE over the years that it is virtually impossible to keep track of them all. Several of them are still around on the independent circuit today and it can be a big deal when one of them is brought back into the WWE fold. While we do not know that for sure, there is at least some speculation that it is happening again.

Over the weekend, East Coast Pro Wrestling announced that former WWE Superstar Erick Rowan has been pulled from his appearance for the company next week. The promotion said that it is one of several appearances Rowan has had to cancel due to “new contractual obligations”. According to Cagesideseats.com, this has led to speculation that Rowan might be returning to WWE. This has NOT been confirmed and there is no word on where Rowan, 42, has signed.

Opinion: While we don’t know for sure, assuming Rowan is returning to WWE, it could not feel more Wyatt 6ish if they tried. Rowan was part of the Wyatt Family and having him involved in the follow up to the idea would make a lot of sense. At the very least, it is nice to see Rowan getting a longer term deal somewhere, and he certainly seems ok with making such a move.
