Card subject to change. We are coming up on Survivor Series and that means we are going to be seeing a slate of big matches, with Monday Night Raw’s champions meeting SmackDown’s champions. That has been the case for a long time at Survivor Series so fans are going to know what they are getting into. There is another tradition that might be taking place again.
Since there are so many title matches on the card, the champions are going to be under a lot more scrutiny than usual. That can make for some interesting moments as you don’t know what kind of changes you might be seeing on the way to the show. There is still the chance for a last second change and we might be seeing a few changes on the way to Survivor Series.
This week on Monday Night Raw, a pair of title matches were set up for next week’s show, which will be the last episode of Monday Night Raw before Survivor Series. First up, New Day will defend the Raw Tag Team Titles against Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander of the Hurt Business. This comes after Alexander and Benjamin defeated New Day in a non-title match the previous week. In addition, Randy Orton will defend the WWE Championship against Drew McIntyre, who he defeated to win the title at Hell In A Cell. The winners will go on to Survivor Series to face the Street Profits and Roman Reigns respectively.
They’re going to be big matches. Check out what got us here:
Opinion: Now this is interesting and gives you the believe that we might be seeing something different at Survivor Series. At the end of the day, that is one of the best things that you could ask for as Survivor Series has really not had the best build so far. There is little build towards the champion vs. champion matches so switching the champions up could make things a little bit better, at least for one week.
