That isn’t good. The world of wrestling has been changed by the Coronavirus in a major way and that is not likely to change anytime soon. One of the biggest issues has been protecting the locker room from the virus spreading as it is something that can spread from one person to another in the blink of an eye. Unfortunately, that might be the case at the moment in WWE.
Above all else, the problem with the virus is how quickly it can spread. In short, if one person gets it and is around several other people, they are all likely to get sick as well. You can imagine what that would mean at a wrestling show and one of the fears from wrestling companies is that if someone gets it then the rest of the roster will as well. That might be the case at the moment.
According to Pro Wrestling Sheet, multiple people who have recently been at the WWE Performance Center have tested positive for the Coronavirus, though it is not clear how many (if any of them) are wrestlers. WWE is currently scheduled to tape this week’s SmackDown on Friday, as a previous taping was postponed due to a developmental wrestler testing positive for the Coronavirus two weeks ago. Dave Meltzer has also confirmed the story.
A couple of notes. The Ryan Satin story about multiple positive tests in WWE is accurate and WWE has known about it at least for a day. We have a major story on that plus a number of other ramifications going up on the site momentarily.

That isn’t the nicest thing in the world so we’ll go with something more pleasant. Check out some more fun moments from WWE:
Opinion: I don’t think this is quite a surprise but rather more a matter of waiting until something like this happened. It is the kind of thing that you can slowly prepare for but there are only so many ways to prevent anything. Unfortunately WWE is getting hit at the moment and there is no guarantee that this is going to be the only time it happens. Now the question is what WWE can do next, and I’m not sure if there is an answer to that.
