He has good taste. AEW has come a very long way in less than a year of running weekly television. They are regularly defeating NXT on Wednesday nights and they might be able to move even higher in the future. That is quite the accomplishment, but they can only get further if they bring in more talent. Every wrestling company needs to do this and now they might have a wish list. At least one person in the company does.
While AEW has come a long way, they would not have made it this far without Chris Jericho. Above everyone else, Jericho is by far the biggest name in the promotion and gave the company a main event level star and one of the top main eventers of this generation. Jericho gave them credibility and it would make sense to keep him happy. Now he has something in mind and maybe some of it can come true.
During the latest edition of his Saturday Night Special series, Jericho was asked who he wanted in AEW. The five names on Jericho’s list include Roman Reigns, Will Ospreay, Ricochet, Kota Ibushi and Don Callis. Each of the five are currently under contract elsewhere, though there is no word on if Callis, who is under contract with Impact Wrestling, or Ibushi and Ospreay, with New Japan Pro Wrestling, could appear with AEW as well.
It was an interesting show. Check out the full thing, plus the wrestlers who are more likely to show up (if any of them are):
Opinion: Jericho certainly has some great taste and there are some names on here that you might be seeing in AEW. While I can’t imagine Reigns and Ricochet ever showing up there, Callis, Ospreay and Ibushi are at least possibilities. That makes things more interesting, as AEW could be a place that opens their doors to them. It is rather interesting, and Jericho being around could make such appearances more possible.
Which of these names is most likely to appear? Who would you like to see there? Let us know in the comments below.
