Goldberg’s fall on Monday night has been the stuff of social media legend, with seemingly everyone offering an opinion on the ring-readiness of the wrestling veteran ahead of his Survivor Series match with Brock Lesnar.

WWE has been editing the slip from Raw highlights, but the big man has had a pretty good sense of humor about it all, even tweeting about his ring rust.

Goldberg had a Facebook Q&A session through ESPN this week in which he was asked about the botch, and he answered in more detail. (Thanks to WrestlingInc for the transcript.)

“I don’t care man, with social media everyone sees that stuff. Here’s the thing, its been 12 years bro. It’s literally the second time I’ve stepped inside the ring, it’s no excuse, it happens and it is what it is. At the end of the day it made it look like more of a real fight and all you guys out there on social media you can kiss my butt, because there’s nothing you can say to make me feel any worse than I’m making myself feel.”

He was also asked if there was room for more WWE matches after his contest with Lesnar. “It’s a one time thing man, it’s a one time thing. I treat everything at face value, I have a single match contract with the WWE and maybe it leads to something down the road, maybe it leads to an opportunity down the road, but at the end of the day November 21st I’m a free man. After I kick Brock’s ass I’ll be happier than hell.”
