Miz TV with *WWE Champion* JOHN CENA and DANIEL BRYAN : MARKED OUT!
How awesome was this segment? From start to finish, both men were excellent. The interweaving of shoot and script is making this program SO enjoyable. Hats off to Bryan and Cena, as well as McMahon and Creative for going this route. STOKED for Sunday after this MizTV segment, which I NEVER thought I would say.
Cena shot HARD on MizTV, saying EXACTLY what it usually is, one big terrible segment. This one, however, raises the bar just a bit.
FANDANGO vs. R-TRUTH: MARKED OUT!
Ok, ok, ok. I didn’t MARK OUT during this segment, but I thought it was entertaining enough to stay engaged. An impromptu dance-off, then quick brawl made for interesting TV.
United States Championship #1 Contender 20-Man Battle Royal – Winner = ROB VAN DAM: MARKED OUT!
This was an AWESOME free TV Battle Royal. RVD gets the chance to face Ambrose in the Kick Off show Sunday…which you KNOW will be a fantastic match. Can’t wait. #MarkOutMoment
Mark Henry and RVD getting surrounded by the Shield teased a Henry/Big Show vs Rollins/Reigns match at SummerSlam, but that has yet to be confirmed.
PAUL HEYMAN vs. CM PUNK: MARKED OUT!
So this just wound up being Punk attacking Brock Lesnar in the ring with a camera, but it was pretty awesome. A 15 reminder that this Sunday will be awesome.
Punk stood strong as the cameras went off…probably because he will look super weak Sunday night as the smaller babyface. Good way to “go home” thought. Dug it.
RAW 08/12/13 OVERALL: MARKED OUT!
I thought Monday’s “Go Home” show was pretty good. It could have been better, but it wasn’t that bad. The two main events feel BIG. Monday helped push them into “WrestleMania Status,” meaning that these matches feel just as big, if not bigger than the matches we had on the card for the last few WrestleMania’s.
I for one and very excited for Sunday’s PPV. How about you all? Comment below and let us know if you’re excited for SummerSlam, if you’re not, what you’re excited about, or anything else you want to say. We want to hear from you!
