7/26 Smackdown *Spoilers*

This week’s episode of Smackdown was taped in the American Bank Center in Corpus Christi, TX. The show will air in the US on Friday, July 26th.

WWE Smackdown

(1) Randy Orton def. Damien Sandow. The show’s opening bout. Orton gets a great pop. Sandow then enters and cuts a great promo. The crowd is really into the match. Cody Rhodes comes out and distracts Sandow, who in turn gets RKO’d/pinned by Orton. Rhodes then steals Sandow’s Money In The Bank briefcase.

– CM Punk comes down to the ring and cuts a great promo on Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman. The crowd is really into it. Fandango then comes out, did his dance and name routine, and gets hit with GTS.

– The Wyatt Family is hyped for later in the show.

(2) Mark Henry / The Usos def. Wade Barrett / Prime Time Players. Henry and the Usos received equally good pops. Henry hit the World’s Strongest Slam for the win.

– A video aired of AJ’s “state of mind” coming tonight.

– World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio tells Vicki Guerrero he should pick his SummerSlam opponent since John Cena got to. RVD comes in, Del Rio tells RVD to prove himself for a title shot. RVD said he would tonight.

– Sandow comes out to looking for his briefcase. He talks to Sin Cara who speaks no English.

(3) *World Heavyweight Champion* Alberto Del Rio def. Rob Van Dam. Del Rio wins with a kick (I think) as RVD talked to the ref.

– Sandow is still looking and runs into Mark Henry and Booker T. They acted like Cody was a thief. Sandow said Booker used to be GM and Booker did his “You did not just say that,” phrase.

– AJ Lee comes out with Big E Langston and calls out Dolph Ziggler. She said she is the champ and is doing fine. She then shows Ziggler’s house key and they have a good exchange where AJ throws all of Ziggler’s belongings in the ring. It ends with Kaitlyn hitting the spear on AJ and Dolph hitting the Fame-Asser on Langston.

(4) The Wyatt Family def. Tons of Funk. Bray Wyatt cuts a promo on Kane after the match.

– Sandow goes to Guerrero to tell her about his lost briefcase and says he WILL find it tonight.

(5) Christian def. Jack Swagger (w/Zeb Colter). Christian gets the victory with the Killswitch in what is being described as a really good match.

– Sandow comes out and says that he will issue a reward for his briefcase. Rhodes is then shown on the Titantron with the case and Sandow chases him down for it.

(6) CM Punk def. Fandango. This is reportedly the match of the night. The crowd was very into it. Should be the main event.

– Sandow is pissed and still looking for his briefcase outside. Rhodes throws it into the Bay for a huge pop on Smackdown!!! The briefcase is shown sinking while Sandow yells about it and his title shot. He jumped in to find the case but quickly retreated and the show ends with Sandow chocking on water from the Corpus Christi Bay.

Dark Match Main Event

Dolph Ziggler defeated Big E Langston (w/AJ Lee).
