In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer addressed the latest CM Punk/WWE rumors, and, to the surprise of no one, it looks like the ex-WWE World Heavyweight Champion won’t be returning to the company anytime soon.

“Regarding rumors regarding Punk, when he was asked by ESPN in Chicago if there is any part of him that misses pro wrestling, he said, ‘Not at all.’ He said that WWE has sent lawyers and people by proxy (meaning the lawsuit filed by Dr. Chris Amann which is still going on) after him because they’re mad ‘I called them on their BS.'”

In the very same interview, Punk said that he hasn’t spoken to UFC president Dana White in several months. He added that he does want to fight again, and that he should know who his next opponent is within the next two months.

WWE has made amends with just about every top star who has ever left, and many are expecting the same to happen with CM Punk. But, as of right now, it doesn’t look like Punk will be returning to the company anytime soon, if ever.

Do you think CM Punk will return to WWE? If so, when do you think we’ll see him again? Let us know in the comments below, or over on Facebook!
