It looks like we could see a rivalry get renewed at this year’s SummerSlam, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

On Thursday’s Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer said that it looks like WWE is going to do John Cena vs. AJ Styles for the United States Championship at SummerSlam.

“It looks like they’re building towards a John Cena vs. AJ Styles rematch for SummerSlam, because they made it very clear that they’re gonna… Even at the end when they were facing off, and during the show they wanted to do the match, and it’s a good match for both of them.”

Styles and Cena faced each other back at last year’s SummerSlam, and it was, by far, the best match on the entire show. The two obviously have fantastic chemistry with one another in the ring, so the fans will probably be more than pleased to see the two face off in Brooklyn.
