Chris Jericho and Kevin Owens are best friends. Like all best friends, they bicker like siblings sometimes. But, they have each other’s back when the moment calls for it. Their “friendship” has been one of the most entertaining things on Raw for some time now.
However, there has been some foreshadowing and Y2J’s heel work has been so good lately that the wheels have begun to turn on the two splitting up. They could go their separate ways, but WWE officials are more likely to book a feud between the two men.
According to a report from CageSideSeats.com, Jericho and Owens are still going to be having a “breakup” angle on Raw over the next several weeks, but it’s unclear when WWE officials are going to pull the trigger.
The report is claiming that it may happen even before “Survivor Series,” which would lead to a series of matches between them going into “Roadblock” in December. Jericho will likely go through a quick face turn that’ll make it easy for him to challenge Owens.
Jericho vs. Owens is bound to be as fun a feud as their partnership was over the past couple of months. It’s unlikely that Y2J will be winning the WWE Universal title, but it’ll be a great thing for Owens to be put over by Jericho as his current WWE run ends soon.
