Last night on SmackDown, Daniel Bryan and Shane McMahon laid out the challenge to Stephanie McMahon and Mick Foley. We’ll be seeing Raw vs. SmackDown at “Survivor Series.”

In “Survivor Series” tradition, there will be three five on five elimination matches on the card, which will be the five best that Raw and SmackDown have to offer in their Women’s Division, Tag Team Division, and the best five overall performers in WWE.

It’s only natural that Raw will accept and set up the build to “Survivor Series” as Raw vs. SmackDown. The question I have is how the rest of the card is going to look because those three matches are cool but is that enough to fill an entire three hour PPV?

One of the most interesting dynamics of the brand extension is what happens when the two brands compete directly. Something like “Survivor Series” is an intriguing PPV to set up some feuds and new matches we haven’t seen before.

Unfortunately, Kevin Owens vs. AJ Styles is heel vs. heel, so that wouldn’t work. But, the idea of someone from Raw getting to face Styles or someone from SmackDown facing Owens could be very interesting.

What if someone like Seth Rollins faced AJ Styles at “Survivor Series?” We could also see Randy Orton vs. Kevin Owens. They may even be title matches. The point is that a lot of cool things can be done with these two brands interacting for the first time in awhile.

What do you think about the upcoming “Survivor Series” PPV?
