You knew this would happen eventually. Tonight on “Smackdown Live”, General Manager Daniel Bryan and Commissioner Shane McMahon issued a challenge to “Monday Night Raw” for three separate Survivor Series brand vs. brand matches. The bosses issued challenges for individual matches between the brands’ five best men, five best women and five best tag teams.

Raw vs. Smackdown was a recurring theme in the original Brand Split but they would only compete against each other every now and then. Eventually this led to an annual pay per view series called Bragging Rights with the two shows fighting each other for brand supremacy and big trophy.

While I’m not a big fan of the brans fighting each other this early (or at all really), at least it’s taking place at a show that makes sense. Saving these moments for the Big Four pay per views is the best possible option and should be a big drawing card for a show that can often get overlooked due to a lack of major matches.

Do you like the idea of the brands interacting this soon? Who would you put in on either roster in any of the three matches? Who should and will win each? Let us know in the comments below!
