James Ellsworth, just prior to having the crap kicked out of him on his Raw debut, said any man with two hands has a fighting chance. And, somehow, the tiny wrestler has fought his way into our hearts.

Ellsworth was the handpicked opponent of WWE World Champion AJ Styles tonight, and against all odds, the underdog pulled off the upset–with a bit of help from special guest referee Dean Ambrose.

Now GM Daniel Bryan, on the post-show episode of Talking Smack, announced that AJ Styles would defend the WWE World Championship against Ellsworth on SmackDown Live on October 18th.

The match between Ellsworth and Styles was comedic gold, especially with Ambrose officiating, but I expect next week’s match to take a more serious turn, with the world champion showing how he earned that title.

But, well–any man with two hands has a fighting chance. Good luck, James. (Don’t tuck your chin.)
