Is Eric Bischoff Interested in a WWE Return to Become the COO of Monday Night Raw?

There has been some speculation about Eric Bischoff returning to WWE for a role after WWE completes the brand split after July 19th’s WWE Draft during the first live edition of SmackDown.

WWE has been bringing back many former General Managers form Smackdown’s past such as Teddy Long, John Laurinaitis, and Vickie Guerrero.

However, we haven’t seen many of the former General Managers from Raw’s past. It was revealed that Vince McMahon will be returning to Monday Night Raw this week.

Even though WWE is going to be changing the name of general managers to “COOs,” a lot of people want to know if Eric Bischoff will return for a role or at least an appearance before or after the brand split.

The rumors eventually got to Bischoff himself and he responded with the following on Twitter about it:

Well, there it is. he gave a clear and decisive answer to the rumors that he’ll be returning to WWE. It’s better knowing that he won’t be involved than allowing the rumor mill to run wild with theories.

Having said that, Bischoff hasn’t been on Raw or SmackDown since late 2007. It’s been quite a while and it would be good to see him in a WWE ring again for even one night.
