Yesterday, it was revealed through an interview that Dave Meltzer did on MLW Radio that WWE could be planning a match between Big Cass & Brock Lesnar for the near future.

WWE officials are very high on Big Cass, which has been reported on thoroughly over the past few months, but to be able to fight and possibly defeat Brock Lesnar is a huge spot that would make him a megastar in WWE.

Apparently, there is a lot of intrigue from the WWE Universe since Big Cass has the potential to pull off a big man face run, which is not as easy as it should be since the monster heel role is so easy to do.

Meltzer was saying that Brock Lesnar’s performance tonight during UFC 200 could potentially be a big deal in how WWE decides to book him over the rest of his WWE contract.

If Brock Lesnar were to lose “spectacularly,” Lesnar isn’t likely to have more options for a full-time return to WWE, so he would be locked down for his contract.

After that, he may be used in the long run to help get a lot more of the younger talents over, especially after the brand split. Big Cass is a perfect example of that idea. You can listen to the full interview for more right here.
