Hideo Itami lost over a year of his career to his shoulder injury. The surgery cost him roughly six months and the complications from his surgery cost him another seven.

Now that Hideo is finally back in NXT, there is a lot of speculation about what that means for NXT programming and for him since NXT was a completely different brand the last time he was in the ring.

According to a report from DailyWrestlingNews.com, NXT officials are very pleased to have him back to help with the depth of the roster as several talents are transitioning to the main roster for the WWE Draft.

Bayley, Finn Balor, Samoa Joe, and others are all expected to debut on the main roster before the end of the year, so NXT officials are preparing for their replacements on NXT programming.

Since Hideo Itami was only getting warmed up in NXT before his injury put him on the shelf, so most are very excited to see what he can do when he is one-hundred percent healthy.

There is a lot of speculation that Itami will be targeting the man that took him out in the parking lot way back at NXT Takeover: Unstoppable. Rumors are claiming that man will be revealed to be the current NXT Champion Samoa Joe.
