Fatal Four Way Match For Intercontinental Championship Officially Set For “Extreme Rules”

It was rumored over the weekend that WWE was planning a fatal four-way match for the Intercontinental Championship at “Extreme Rules.”

In that scenario, The Miz would defend the IC title against Cesaro, Kevin Owens, and Sami Zayn. After another match between Miz and Zayn tonight on Raw, the match is official for “Extreme Rules.”

It’s a very interesting situation because all four men in the match are good, and all four men have a chance to win the match next Sunday.

It seems that no matter what happens, the feud between Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens will continue. Either, Sami can win the title, and Owens will be in hot pursuit because he believes himself to be better after defeating him at “Payback.” Owens could also win the championship, and Zayn could be the one to challenge him for the title.

The only issue is where that leaves Cesaro after “Extreme Rules”, but there are many options for him to face any number of superstars. If Chris Jericho stays around, we could see Cesaro vs. Jericho.

The best option may be to give us a triple threat situation between Cesaro, Owens, and Zayn. There are so many good options for a winner, and that will make it a hard situation to predict.
