On the way? The rise of AEW has changed the way the industry works, with several never stars being allowed to wrestle on the national stage. Those are names that fans might have not seen before but they have become stars as well. Other AEW names might be familiar, including former WWE names. Now we might be seeing an AEW name heading the other way for a change.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Another One: Top WWE Star Taking Time Off Following WrestleMania 40

According to SEScoops.com, current FTW World Champion Hook is expected to expire later this year and he is expected to explore his options for his next contract. A source said that they could see WWE being interested in signing Hook. Hook is currently working with Chris Jericho, who is serving as his on-screen mentor. Hook’s father Taz, a current member of the AEW broadcast team, is a former WWE wrestler and broadcaster.

Hook has done well in AEW. Check out his time there so far:

Opinion: I can’t say I’m surprised at something like this as Hook is a young star who has done well in his limited time in wrestling. It would make sense for WWE to want to see what he could do under their banner and maybe that is what will happen. At the same time, maybe Hook wants to sign with AEW or elsewhere. The cool thing is that he has the choices, which was not the case just a few years ago.

What do you think of Hook’s time in AEW? Where do you want him to sign next? Let us know in the comments below.
