The contract dispute between Ryback and WWE has taken a few interesting turns. Some issues have been brought up that many weren’t expecting such as Ryback advocating for equal pay for all performers in WWE.

It seems that the core issue that Ryback is having with the company during these contract negotiations is mainly about money, his star power, and value to the WWE product.

According to a report from Wrestlezone.com, the dispute that led to Ryback going home after a meeting with Vince McMahon last Monday was due to an issue with money.

It’s being said that there were some disputes made about some of the demands and perks that Ryback asked for in his new contract.

In the past, Ryback expressed the desire to get his own tour bus. That seems unlikely to many, but another issue was that The Big Guy had asked for WWE to pay for all of his hotels while on the road with the company.

In case you’re not familiar with this fact, almost every other professional athlete has that covered in their contract, and it’s actually a fairly standard thing.

On paper, you’d think that WWE would cover those expenses for their talent based on the amount of time on the road every year, but that brings up another issue that most of us don’t even think about when it comes to the day to day activities that WWE superstars go through to entertain us.

Do you think WWE should pay for things like hotel rooms for their talent?
