The Nature Boy has been a frequent topic of discussion over the past few weeks. He’s been getting into some trouble, but it’s not the fun kind.

In a recent episode of SmackDown, Ric Flair crossed the PG line and accidently told Natalya to “kill herself.” Shortly after that, he was involved in a very confusing incident at Boston’s Logan Airport that caused a lot of speculation about his condition.

Now, a report from DailyWrestlingNews.com is claiming that Ric Flair will be taking off a lot more house shows and WWE events.

Flair hasn’t been present for any of this weekend’s events. It’s possible that WWE is giving him some time off after the airport incident.

While it’s possible that WWE could be weening Ric Flair off of WWE television and away from Charlotte’s side, it may be not that serious and is nothing more than a weekend off.

At “Extreme Rules” Charlotte will be defending the WWE Women’s Championship against Natalya in a Submission match, which means that match will essentially be The Figure Eight versus The Sharpshooter.

For storyline purposes, Ric Flair has been banned from ringside. It’s possible that WWE could pull an angle with Flair anyway, but we’ll see tomorrow night on Raw if The Nature Boy is back by Charlotte’s side.

Do you think Ric Flair should continue as Charlotte’s manager?
