There was a report only a few days ago addressing the absence of some WWE veterans like The Big Show, Kane, and Mark Henry. In a nutshell, WWE is more focused on building new stars than giving veterans TV time right now.

However, eight superstars, including King Barrett, Damien Sandow, and others were released by the company on Friday. A lot happened on that day, but that doesn’t mean WWE is done releasing talent. In fact, there is a rumor going around that there will be more cuts coming.

According to Sportskeeda and Cagesideseats.com, there will be more cuts and more WWE superstars will be released before the end of the month.

It’s an unfortunate part of the business, but WWE has been going nuts signing new talent for NXT and the main roster. They’ve also been signing a lot of fresh faces for their developmental system. Top guys like John Cena and Seth Rollins will also be returning soon, and that’s less television time for many WWE superstars.

It’s still extremely unlikely, but Randy Orton’s name was still up in the air for a release. A few other names being rumored about are guys like Mark Henry, and there have been nuggets about WWE pulling the plug on Ryback during their contract negotiations.

Who do you think should be released by WWE?
