It’s always a boost of momentum for a wrestler to win a championship so quickly and immediately pass over all other talent and become a marked man, or woman.

WWE has used this booking to get several performers over on their first night, or their first match to gain interest. It’s an interesting move, but it can’t happen all the time for obvious reasons.
