That’s a different way to go. We are less than five months away from WrestleMania 37 and that means WWE should have begun planning the card months ago. That is a pretty unique setup for any wrestling show and there is a good reason for that to be the case. WrestleMania is the be all and end all for WWE shows and it is going to have some pretty big matches. Now one of them might be different than what was originally planned.

Way back before the Coronavirus pandemic changed everything, we were in a pretty cool place with the beginning of the WWE year. One of the biggest surprises was Edge returning to the ring at the Royal Rumble after a nearly nine year absence. That is not the kind of thing that you get to see every day and it was a pretty cool moment. However, things did not go as planned and Edge is on the shelf again with a torn bicep. Aside from the Royal Rumble, Edge has only faced Randy Orton so far. That might change at WrestleMania 37.

According to the WrestleVotes Twitter account, WWE is considering Edge vs. the Fiend Bray Wyatt for WrestleMania 37 in a first time ever match. This comes after WWE had reportedly been planning Edge vs. Orton in an I Quit match for Orton’s WWE Championship at WrestleMania. Edge vs. Orton is still the plan, but Edge vs. Wyatt has been receiving more momentum as of late.

This could be interesting. Check out what we might be seeing:

Opinion: This is something interesting and that is mainly because there is no need to have Edge vs. Orton again. We have seen it done more than once now, including at this year’s WrestleMania, so move on to something else. Edge does not have a lot of time left in the ring so why should he only be facing Orton when there are so many other prospects out there? Let us see what else he can do against someone like Wyatt for a change.

What do you think of the match? Will it happen? Let us know in the comments below.
