It’s a little more important. Wrestlers are in a weird situation as they are often put on television almost every week with a lot of the details of their lives being revealed, even if some of them are built up for storyline advancement. This can create some issues, especially if those real life details can interfere with their careers. There are some things that are more important than wrestling though and that is going to cause someone to be away from the ring for a bit.

Earlier this year, Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch announced that she was vacating the title because she was going to have a baby. The announcement changed the WWE women’s division in the blink of an eye as WWE was losing one of its top stars. However, there was another detail it, as fellow WWE star Seth Rollins, and Lynch’s fiance, was the father of the baby, meaning that he was going to be involved in a few months. Now we know what that is going to mean.

According to Wrestling Observer Radio, Rollins’ feud with Rey Mysterio was wrapped up faster than planned due to Rollins taking time off for the birth of his child. The current plan calls for Rollins to face Murphy on next week’s SmackDown, to wrestle at Survivor Series and leave after about one more week. Rollins is expected to be gone until around the first of the year.

Rollins and Lynch work well in WWE too. Check out some of their time together:

Opinion: I would think that the birth of your first child is an acceptable reason for someone to be gone from WWE and hopefully everything goes well for he and Lynch. Rollins is going to be missed while he is away but I think even WWE understands the situation. He has been one of their most prominent stars for a long time now and a little break like this for such a situation shouldn’t be a problem.
