Who Challenges Heath Slater and Rhyno on Sunday?

This could be good. As seen on tonight’s episode of “Smackdown Live”, Randy Orton and Bray Wyatt defeated American Alpha to become the official #1 contenders for the Smackdown Tag Team Titles. They will face champions Heath Slater and Rhyno for the titles this coming Sunday at “Tables, Ladders and Chairs 2016”.

American Alpha seemed to have the title shot locked up after last week’s Tag Team Turmoil match but the Wyatts appeared on the screen to say they would be the final opponents to determine the real #1 contenders. There’s a good chance this was due to Orton taking the week off to be present for the birth of his child.

The Wyatts better win on Sunday. Wyatt has been around for over three years and has only had a handful of title shots. At some point he has to actually win something and since the World Title seems to be out of the picture for now, this might be the best possible option. Orton and Wyatt are an interesting team and even though it’s almost a guarantee that we’ll see them fight at “Wrestlemania XXXIII”, I’m still digging the story.
