That’s one less hour a week. While there’s no guarantee that this is true, there’s a chance that WWE has canceled “Superstars”. According to Wrestlinginc.com, the show, which is usually taped before “Monday Night Raw”, was replaced by “Main Event”, usually taped before “Smackdown Live”. WWE Network doesn’t have a new episode of “Superstars” scheduled for this week.

If the show has been canceled, there’s a good chance it’s due to the debut of “205 Live”, which will be taped on the same night as “Smackdown Live”. It wouldn’t be the biggest surprise if “Superstars” is canceled as it often shared the same highlights from “Monday Night Raw” with “Main Event”, making the shows a bit repetitive.

I can’t say I’m surprised if this is the case. I watch both shows every week and there’s just no need to have both of them. If WWE would swap the taping schedule (which they could still do) and have “Main Event” as the “Monday Night Raw” show and “Superstars” as the “Smackdown Live” show (“Main Event” has to air on Tuesdays due to a deal with Hulu so they’re on a set schedule), things would change for the better. As it is now though, “Superstars” leaving the air wouldn’t be a big surprise.
