This makes things more interesting. At Sunday’s “Tables, Ladders and Chairs 2016”, Becky Lynch will defend the Smackdown Women’s Title against Alexa Bliss. On tonight’s episode of “Smackdown Live”, it was announced that the match will officially be a tables match. Here’s Lynch’s reaction to the match being announced.

The new gimmick being added to the match isn’t much of a surprise after the show’s opening sequence, during which Bliss sent Lynch through a table to cap off a contract signing. On top of that, there hadn’t been a tables match announced for the “Tables, Ladders and Chairs 2016” pay per view, meaning one had to be coming at some point.

I like this as it’s reminiscent of Sheamus vs. John Cena from 2009. It’s kind of hard to buy that Bliss can beat Lynch in a straight match but it’s possible to imagine her putting the champ through a table. I wouldn’t mind seeing Bliss get the belt but I have a bad feeling it leads to Nikki Bella getting it in a hurry, which means hearing about how big of a moment it really is.

Do you think Lynch loses on Sunday? Is a tables match the best idea? Let us know in the comments below.
