Welcome back? An injury can slow down anything in the wrestling world and one of the biggest problems is wondering how long someone is going to be out of action. Most of the time an injured wrestler is going to be able to return to the ring but it can take a long time to make that happen. Now we are getting close to a recently injured wrestler being able to get back in the ring.

One of the bigger stories of the summer has been the rivalry between Rey Mysterio and Seth Rollins. Various other people have been brought into the story, which started all the way back in May and is still going on today. The feud was put on hold when Mysterio suffered a triceps tear, which has put him on the shelf for over a month. That time is up though and we have an update on Mysterio’s status.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Mysterio should be back in the ring “any time now” and is said to be around 99% healthy. The injury is said to have healed more slowly than expected, though Mysterio has been seen without his sling in recent weeks. Mysterio’s most recent match took place at Payback, when he and his son Dominick defeated Seth Rollins and Murphy.

I think you know him. Check out some of a healthy Mysterio in the ring:

Opinion: This is good to hear, as Mysterio is already forty five years old and is only going to be able to wrestle that much longer. Mysterio does not have the best record when it comes to staying healthy so hopefully he gets to get back in the ring sooner rather than later. Thankfully the injury doesn’t seem to be that bad and he is already back less than two months later. Get him back in the ring so he can continue to be the legend that he already is.

What do you think of Mysterio? What should he do next? Let us know in the comments below.
